INFRARED PHOTOCONDUCTORS

Abstract

Work was directed toward a study a Ge incorporating Au (or other multilevel impurity) and a donor impurity. Samples of varying composition were investigated for spectral response, variation of conductivity with temperature, and sign of carrier. Equipment is being prepared for radioactive tracer measurements of Ge in order to obtain further quantitative information on the question of impurity balance. (See also AD13278)
