COMPLEX AMPLITUDES FOR ELECTRON SCATTERING BY ATOMS

Abstract

The partial waves scattering theory was applied to electron scattering by U and f atoms at 40 and 11 kev. The complex atomic scattering amplitudes were computed and applied to the scattering by the UF6 molecule. The predicted electron scattering by the UF6 molecule was in accord with experiment.
