Abstract

Research was carried out which included a study of the kinetics of holes and electrons in semiconductors, an investigation of the interaction between magnetic ions or atoms in oxides and metal, and a study of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with magnetic,electronic, and ionic systems. Military problems pertaining to the use of electromagnetic radiation were also considered for the cases in which the spectrum lies in the region between the UV and the far IF.
