PRELIMINARY STUDY AND RESEARCH RELATED TO IN-FLIGHT PICK-UP OF MEN AND MATERIALS WITH HIGH-PERFORMANCE AIRCRAFT

Abstract

The purpose is to study the problems related to picking up materiel and personnel from the ground by means of high-performance aircraft, to prepose practical methods of accomplishing such pick-up, to recommend a program of field testing which will prove and perfect the methods proposed.
