MICROSPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES OF BIOLOGICAL TISSUES

Abstract

Progress is reported on the development and testing of UV sources and detectors for radiation at low-intensity levels. Various methods were evaluated for coating Al mirrors for high reflectivity and low scattering in the UV region. Refrigerator equipment was tested for low-temperature conditions to permit the operation of a microtome.
