THE PHOTOGRAMMETRY OF DEPTH DETERMINATION BY WAVE VELOCITY METHOD FROM AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS

Abstract

Planning factors and photogrammetric specifications for flying wave sorties for depth determination are presented. Theoretical and practical discussion concerning the planning factors of overlap, photographic scale, exposure interval, flying speed, photographic tilt, and flight line are given. Specifications are listed for camera type, tilt , flying height, exposure interval, aircraft speed, focal length, photographic scale, flight line, and time of photography. A method for making measurements on wave photographs is described.
