Accuracies of Radiosonde Data

Abstract

This report summarizes the best available information on the errors of the radiosondes in current use in U.S., for temperature, pressure, humidity, and height. An elementary discussion of the statistical terms and concepts used for expressing the accuracy or error is also included.
