Temperature Differences in Harvard forest and their Significance

Abstract

This Study deals with local temperature differences in numerous contrasted parte of Harvard Forest in central Massachusetts, in the Eastern Upland of New England. The study was sponsored jointly by Harvard University and The Quartermaster General, United States Army. Field study extended from August 1947 through July 1948. The present report is a revision of a doctoral dissertation accepted by the Division ofGeological Sciences, Harvard University, in May, 1953.
