TEST METHODS FOR THE STUDY OF THE PROPERTIES OF CASTING RESINS

Abstract

A number of test methods developed for studying the electrical and thermal properties of casting resins are presented. Many of the measurements center about the use of a continuous current monitoring device to following changes in electrical resistivity, in situ, with temperature and time. Test data on volume resistivity, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, relative reactivity and thermal conductivity can be obtained. Detailed information on test equipment is included.
