Isolating-Oscillating Piston Pump.

Abstract

The patent application relates to a device whereby the loss of fluid from one or more branch circuits of a hydraulic system is sensed by a reduction in the system reservoir level. This causes the leaking circuit to be shut off after which power is transferred from the central system to a sub-system while maintaining isolation between the system fluids. A pressure switch in the sub-system is arranged so that the device will cease to transfer power when the loss of pressure caused by leakage therein exceeds a preset valve.
