Abstract
The following are discussed: Oscillographs, X-ray radiography, helium purity indicators, electronic counter circuits, magnetic-recording research, devices for measuring deflection time, wall thickness of hollow-steel propeller blades, bomb retardation, etc. The devices and techniques discussed affect the battle front indirectly by facilitating production and perfection of material, and by improving the training and preparation of personnel for battle.
