PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION TESTS ON BLUNTED PLATE AND CONE AT MACH NUMBERS 20 TO 23,

Abstract

Pressure distribution tests were made on a blunted cone and a flat plate with two different nose radii in tunnel Hotshot 2 at Mach numbers 20 to 23 and Reynolds numbers about 300,000 per ft. Angle of attack ranged from 0 to 45 deg for the cone and from 0 to 30 deg for the flat plate. (Author)
