PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION OVER MODELS OF DOME AND ARCH STRUCTURES

Abstract

This report presents the results of an investigation in the NOL Supersonic Tunnel No. 2 to measure the static pressure distribution over dome shaped buildings and arch shaped buildings at Mach numbers from 0.401 to 1.75. These data were obtained to provide information on instantaneous airloads acting on protective structures exposed to air blasts.
