THERMOGRAVIMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE PYROLYSIS CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYMERS

Abstract

Application of the technique of Thermogravimetric Analysis to the study of the kinetics of pyrolysis of several different types of polymers is described. The apparatus used is also described. The results are discussed in relationship to the chemical structures of the various polymers. (Author-PL).
