OSCILLATORS AND RELATED DEVICES USED IN USSR SATELLITES. A BIBLIOGRAPHY

Abstract

INFORMATION CONCERNING THE USE OF OSCILLATORS AND RELATED DEVICES IN USSR satellites, or in the tracking of the satellites, is presented. Emphasis in compiling the bibliography was placed specifically on the uses of: the stability of oscillator frequency used in USSR satellites, techniques on comparison of standard frequencies radiated by ground transmitters with those of the satellites, use of the beat frequency and Doppler effect in satellite tracking, application of earth satellites for solving geodetic problems, (over) satellites instrumentation pertaining to the above problems. Current references to space-probe instrumentation are included. The references cover the period 1957 thru 1960.
