A METHOD FOR SYNTHESIS OF OPTIMUM DIRECTIONAL PATTERNS FROM NON-PLANAR APERTURES

Abstract

The scalar radiation problem is considered for radiating surfaces of arbitrary shape. The source distribution which produces an optimum directional pattern is determined. Examples are included for apertures in planes and spheres. (Author)
