CONFIDENCE INTERVALS OF PREASSIGNED LENGTH FOR QUANTILES OF UNIMODAL POPULATIONS

Abstract

For the case where the only information we have about a population is that it has a unimodal density function, a two-sample method is given for constructing a confidence interval of preassigned length for any quantile of the population. (Author)
