FERRITE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

HIGH-EFFICIENCY MANGANESE-ZINC FERRITES: A number of compositions close to that of MF-4373-A was investigated. A limited field exists in the triaxial representation of the MnO-ZnO-Fe2O3 system where a low temperature coefficient and high mu sub o Q product occurs. THERMOGRAVIMETRIC ANALYSIS OF MF-4373-A MATERIAL: A thermographic analysis was made of a firing of MF-4373-A material under changing atmosphere conditions. TEMPERATURE-STABLE MATERIALS IN THE 2-12 MC RANGE: More firings have been made of materials MF-5493 and MF-5494 containing 0.2 to 0.4 wt-% of cobalt oxide. Linear mu sub o vs temperature curves were found consistently. ZERO-FIELD FERRITES 20 TO 70 MC: Magnetic measurements were taken on new compositions. Graphs of mu sub o and delta mu sub o/sq mu sub o delta T vs temperature at 4.3 mc are shown. (Author)
