Abstract

A summary is presented of the historical development of the methods of powder metallurgy, and also a condensed description ot the principle theoretical assumptions, properties, technology and the most important examples of the use of powder metal alloys in electrical engineering, metal works, amchine construction, mining and jet technology related mainly to the use of gas turbines. The brochure was written in order to acquaint a wide circle of engineers, qualified workers, innovators and inventors of various branches of industry with the possibilities and methods of powder metallurgy.
