X-Ray Diffraction Study of the Structure of Ferromagnetic Alloys Fe-Mo and Fe-Mo-Co (Rentgenograficheskoye Issledovaniye Struktury Ferromagnitnykh Splavov Fe-Mo i Fe-Mo-Co.),

Abstract

Harmonic analysis of the form of X-ray diffraction lines is used to determine the magnitude of microstresses and paramagnetic inclusions in alloys Fe-Mo and Fe-Mo-Co after different thermal treatment. Structural characteristics are compared with magnetic properties. The alloys Fe-Mo (79% Fe, 21% Mo) and Fe-Mo-Co (74% Fe, 16% Mo, 10% Co) were studied for the purpose of clarifying the reason for the variations in the coercive force under thermal treatment.
