Research is reported on the modulation of ight by superhigh frequency. The following was concluded. (1) Nitrobenzene made t possle to modulte the light by frequency of up to 10 to the 10th power cyles, (<) reaxion me of nitrobenzene molecules is comparable in value with the time otained from the dispersion of electromagnetic waves of the same frequency, () molation depth can be increased by a better selection of the cell size and structure, inreasing the power of superhigh-frequency pulse osclltor and by the proper cooing of the cel during s operation, and (4) the applied method for determining the relaxion time of nirobenzene can be employed also to determine the relaxtion tme of other uances.
