AN ANALYTICAL MODEL FOR THE EVALUATION OF SURVEILLANCE-SYSTEM COUNTERMEASURES IN A BATTLEFIELD ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

A model of a ground-based surveillance system operating in the presence of a countermeasure is developed in terms of mathematical relationships that relate members and locations of observers to the total surveillance capability of the force under consideration. An example is given of the application of the model to a hypothetical battle situation. (Author)
