AN/APQ-69 (XH-1) HIGH RESOLUTION RADAR. PART II. DESCRIPTION OF SYSTEM OPERATION, OPERATING AND ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
Abstract
The AN/APQ-69(XH-1) high resolution radar system components are described physically. The functional operation of the various circuits is described. The operation of the equipment is described in some detail; however, the equipment procured for the system on an off the shelf basis is described only to the extent that it has been modified to make it compatible with the rest of the system. Operating procedures are given that provide the information needed to operate the equipment on the ground and during flight. A section devoted to film processing is included in the operating procedures. Adjustment procedures are called out for the various controls and alignment adjustments with the exception of the operating controls. (Author)
