HARD ALLOYS IN DIES
Abstract
The pamphlet discusses the properties of hard alloys, the inserts made out of them, the securing of the hard-alloy inserts or dies proper in the die holders for cold stamping work, and computing the dimensions of such inserts and master dies as well as the power of the press exerting the pressure. The pamphlet also gives a description of the electric-spark method of toughening the working parts by hard alloy. The pamphlet is intended for foremen and technicians working at cold stamping.
