SOME POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS OF PROJECT OUTCOMES RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Abstract

Section I, refers to the possibility of using the theory and methodology of Project Outcomes to problems of strategic information. It is felt that once the methods of this Project have been satisfactorily developed, they might be standardized and operationalized for the use of the agencies concerned with gathering strategic information. Section II covers possible applications of this Project to problems of intelligence, evaluation and control of specific foreign operations as related to logistic and tactical problems. Section III discusses possible development of our methodology for the purposes of assessing present and future organizational effectiveness. Section IV, refers to the applications that our study may have for problems of personnel selection, training and evaluation. Specifically, it is possible that the inclusion of ex-ante data in the standard procedures currently in use for personnel selection, training and evaluation, might lead to substantive improvements in predictive power and reliability.
