EVALUATION OF SET, WELDING, EQUIPMENT: FOR NON-FERROUS METALS, USED WITH 300-AMPERE WELDING MACHINES
Abstract
An evaluation was conducted to determine whether the welding set is suitable for Army use at organizational maintenance level. Tests included pre-operational inspection, compatibility with related equipment, welding operations, stowage and transport, maintenance, durability, and reliability. It was concluded that the set will be suitable for Army use upon correction of certain discrepancies. The latter include modifications in design, quality control, additional equipment, and revision of instructions.
