PERIPHERAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO HIGH-ENERGY INTERACTION PROCESSES

Abstract

INTERACTION PROCESSES AT HIGH ENERGIES AND LOW MOMENTUM TRANSFERS ARE ANALYZED AND REVIEWED IN TERMS OF THE PERIPHERAL COLLISION APPROXIMATION. Experimental results are analyzed, new experiments are proposed, and practical consequences of some of the results for high-energy accelerators are discussed. (Author)
