SOME HIGHER ORDER INTEGRAL IDENTITIES WITH APPLICATION TO BOUNDING TECHNIQUES

Abstract

A certain class of integral identities is derived. These identities relate integrals of derivatives of a function u over the boundary C of a region R to integrals of derivatives of u over R. The highest order derivatives appear in the form of derivatives of a certain differential operator. An application of the identities to the problem of obtaining bounds for the derivatives of the solution of a certain boundary value problem is given. (Author)
