CONCEPT AND USE OF CENTRALLY PREPARED WEATHER CHARTS

Abstract

The AWS policy is established and explained for optimum use of charts and related material produced by centralized weather facilities, and procedures for the use of such materials are described. The manual provides guidance for all forecasters, whether users or originators of centralized facility products, as well as for personnel concerned with supervision, support, and administration of forecasting activities.Additionally, the contents will serve as a text for OJT, seminars, and formal training.
