NOTES ON MTI SIMULATION TECHNIQUES

Abstract

The construction is detailed of numbers that are adequate simulations of the voltage waveforms that occur in the range gate of a pulse-type MTI radar system. The radar is assumed to be a coherent, single-delay line, phase only system and the voltage waveforms in question are suitable functions of the phase difference between two successive resultant vectors observed at times t, t + tau, respectively.
