SEMICONDUCTORS IN TECHNOLOGY AND LIFE (SELECTED ARTICLES

Abstract

Research conducted in the Soviet Union on semiconductors is presented. The employment of thermoelectric generators for the production of electric power is noted. Various heating methods employing thermal batteries are discussed, as well as the use of these batteries in medical research. Research is reported on the design and manufacture of photocells.
