HIGH SPEED, HIGH POWER S-BAND PHASE SHIFTER

Abstract

Research was conducted in the development of a high speed, high power S band phase shifter. The phase shifter is matched as well as can be expected without a major structural design change. Three hundred and sixty degrees of phase shift was obtained for a movement which should be adequate for speeds approaching 1 millisecond. The electronic drive circuitry and drive unit were designed and built. Operation of the power supplies and amplifier, in preliminary tests was satisfactory. (Author)
