MEASURING THE RELEVANCE OF AN ITEM OF INFORMATION TO THE COMMAND OF A COMPLEX MAN-MACHINE SYSTEM
Abstract
A mathematical approach is presented on one of the most critical problems in development of command consoles and displays, i.e., the evaluation of the relevance of potential information inputs. It may be applied to any kind of proposed system to determine command information requirements when current methods may not be adequate to the task. (Author)
