Abstract

The book sets forth certain basic theoretical concepts in the manufacture of porous materials for sliding bearings; the results of studies and the influence of technological factors on the physical and mechanical properties of porous copper-base and iron-base materials are given; specific practical recommendations are given on the organization of the manufacture of porous bearings and on their use in machine construction.
