HEAT EXCHANGE BETWEEN A LIQUID AND A HEAT-EMITTING ROD

Abstract

The paper gives a solution of the problem of stationary heat exchange between the plane stream of an ideal liquid and a heat-evolving cylinder. The temperatures in the rod and the liquid are represented by series obtained from functions which satisfy the equation. Unknown coefficients are determined from the equality of temperatures and heat flows on the rod boundary. (Author)
