INVESTIGATIONS OF NEW TYPES OF PLASTICS

Abstract

The continuous increase in the selection of plastic materials for replacing non-ferrous metals and expensive alloys is cited. Certain types of polymer materials possess the properties which permit them to be used in many branches of the national economy. Polyethylene and polypropylene belong to this group and are reported in research conducted at the Scientific Research Inof the Chemical Industry. (Author)
