THE ELASTIC WEDGE UNDER MIXED BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

Abstract

Using the Mellin transform, the state of stress is found for the infinite elastic wedge with the following mixed boundary conditions: one edge is free of applied traction while along the other edge the displacement components are specified at each point. The solution is of interest in experimental stress analysis. (Author)
