COPOLYMERS OF ADENYLIC ACID WITH INOSINIC AND CYTIDYLIC ACID

Abstract

The progressive introduction of inosinic residues into the poly A chain results in: (a) The disappearance of the characteristic structural transition of poly A at acid pH's. (b) A fall in helical content, as measured by ultraviolet hypochromism and optical rotation. (c) A lowering of the melting point of the complex with poly U. (Author)
