POWDER METALS FROM IRON AND STEEL

Abstract

The introduction of progressive methods of powder metallurgy into Soviet industry will economize on 100,000 tons of nonferrons and ferrons metals, appreciably cut down production losses, substantially increase labor productivity in machine-construction factories, improve the quality of the output and lower the cost of production. In addition, the use of this method will free thousands of machine tool units and other equipment in metalworking and finishing shops. (Author)
