PROBLEMS AND TECHNIQUES IN EXPERIMENTS (SELECTED ARTICLES)

Abstract

Shortcomings in measuring large currents (milliamperes in multiples of ten) in ion-accelerating tubes are presented. Results of electrical measurements are compared with measurements made by the heat method. The tructure of a simple and reliable operating 50-kv ion-accelerating tube having an ionic current up to 20 ma is described. (Author)
