THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A ONE-HALF WATT HEATER POWER REDUCED SIZE NUVISTOR TRIODE
Abstract
Samples of the initial model of the developmental A15200 triode were successfully made and meet the requirement of less than one-half watt heater power input. Dynamic characteristics are considered to be good, but work was begun on design refinements which are expected to achieve still further improved performance. Preliminary life tests indicated no basic problems with the design. Preliminary operational tests as a 450 mc RF amplifier were encouraging. (Author)
