CONSIDERATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING A MATERIALS INFORMATION PROCESSING CAPABILITY

Abstract

A survey is summarized in conjunction with recommendations for the development of a Materials Information Processing Capability at the WADD Materials Central. The discussion covers some basic concepts of technical information, user requirements, and existing information centers. A consistency in pattern of information processing techniques is examined and discussed. Recommendations are given for the development of a Materials Information Processing Capability. (Author)
