DAMPING OF ACCELEROMETERS WITH A HIGHER NATURAL FREQUENCY

Abstract

Damped accelerometers with a natural frequency of up to 500 are described wherein the liquids of a comparatively low viscosity (up to 30 stokes) are used for damping. These accelerometers have a ''flat'' design. Apart from an increase of resistance forces, their merit consists also in a small variation of the natural frequency on filling up the instrument with liquid. (Author)
