Abstract

This book deals with the principles of control of aviation gas turbine and ramjet engines. Attention is concentrated on describing the physical bases of the processes of engine controlAND AN EXPOSITION OF THE METHODS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDY AND DESIGN OF CONTROL APPARATUS. A series of examples bring out the close connection between the operation of the elements in the control loop and the fuel supply system of the engines. The characteristics of the several elements of the fuel apparatus are given. The book is written as a textbook for students in Aviation Institutes, but may also be useful for workers specializing in the field of aviation engines. (Author)
