CARDIAC ARREST AND RESUSCITATION, PART II. A STUDY OF VENTRICULAR FIBRILLATION

Abstract

There is a great need to examine and evaluate the practices which are currently being employed in ventricular defibrillation procedures. The work being performed in this laboratory is aimed toward obtaining data that may be used to answer questions dealing with the use of procaine as an agent to aid resuscitation of a fibrillating heart. As of this reporting period the first phase of research has been partially completed and a general trend has begun to emerge. To date only limited results have been accomplished. (Author)
