DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF AUTOMATIC PROCEDURES FOR THE DETERMINATION OF ALBUMIN, GLOBULIN, GLUTAMIC-OXALOACETIC TRANSAMINASE AND PROTEIN-BOUND IODINE IN SERUM

Abstract

Utilizing the Technicon Autoanalyzer, a satisfactory method was devised for the automatic determination of protein-bound iodine in normal and pathological sera. Methods recently reported by other workers for the automatic determination of total protein and albumin were evaluated and one selected for routine use. Work continues on development of an automatic method for glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase determinations. (Author)
