STUDY OF SURFACE WAVES ALONG THE BOUNDARY OF TWO COAXIAL CYLINDRICAL DIELECTRIC COLUMNS IN A CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL METALLIC WAVEGUIDE WITH EXCITATION BY A MAGNETIC RING CURRENT

Abstract

The field generated by a magnetic current ring in a waveguide of circular cross-section partially filled with plasma is calculated. The waveguide is divided into 2 parts (an inner cylindrical region and the remainder), one of which is filled with homogeneous plasma, the other being empty. The current is assumed to be independent of angle. The field is studied in the case of zero or infinite axial dc magnetic field. (Author)
