RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARD THE QUANTIZATION OF THE GRAVITATIONAL FIELD

Abstract

Research on the quantization of the general theory of relativity is summarized. The work is divided into four principal categories: (1) the measurement of distance in general relativity; (2) The definition of rigid frames in relativity; (3) The theory of gravitational radiation; and (4) The nature of the observables of general relativity.
