A REVIEW OF MATERIALS RESEARCH FOR 1960 OF THE ORDNANCE MATERIALS RESEARCH OFFICE AND THE D.O.D. LARGE SOLID PROPELLANT ROCKET MOTOR MATERIALS PROGRAM

Abstract

Abstracts of technical reports issued by the Ordnance Materials Research Office during 1960 are presented. The topics cover: adhesives, analysis, preservation of materials; inorganic and organic coatings; corrosion resistance, high temperature metals (ferrous and nonferrous) and plastics; nondestructive tests; packaging; nuclear instrumentation; vulcanizates; elastomers; and welding. Also included are summaries of contract research being conducted under the Solid Propellant Rocket Motor Materials Program. (LS-PL).
