COEFFICIENTS FOR AXISYMMETRIC SCHLIEREN EVALUATIONS

Abstract

The quantitative evaluation of schlieren measurements of a broad class of axisymmetric gaseous phenomena can be performed by a procedure which is oth simple to apply and insensitive to experimental error. Coefficients for the numerical integration of the evaluation equation are tabulated. The procedure is illustrated by evaluations of two theoretical functions representative of types encountered in the applications (Author)
